Testosterone belongs to the class of male hormones called “androgens” or anabolic steroids. The “Leydig Cells” present in the certain parts of the testes produces testosterone. Testosterone is a hormone made by our body. Its male sex hormones that is important to sexual and reproductive development. That’s why it is called the most important male hormones. Testosterone is also a naturally sex hormones that produced in a man’s testicles/testes.
The brains hypothalamus instructs the pituitary glands on how much testosterone to produce and pituitary glands pass the message to testes that’s why they call it “Chemical Messengers”.
Before we get to the topic of what is the normal level of testosterone, let us first get to know what this testosterone is and why you should care if you don’t have the normal level of it in your body.
You would not know the importance of something unless you know what important matters that thing takes care for you.
So what is this testosterone or androgen that we are going to talk about? During our science class, our teacher often refers to testosterone as the male hormone, of course the females have their very own hormones and as a matter of fact they have two, the estrogen and progesterone.
Ever tried looking at yourself in the mirror and start thinking that you could be at least more muscular? While looking over that skin coated bones, you just starting hoping and wishing that maybe, you can just be, at the very least, a little more buff than what you are at the present.
